Opening Outsider Art Projects
Outsider Art Projects is a non profit initiative dedicated to the promotion of Outsider Art, through the creation of a virtual global stage in Second Life®. Our gallery space in Colonia Nova hosts both solo and group exhibitions by outsider artists and (Real Life) Outsider Art galleries, as well as collaborative ventures between outsiders and regular artists.

Alexicon Kurka and Mayeve Zabelin proudly inaugurate the virtual gallery space in Second Life®, with the opening of:     KIM NOBLE: A DIVIDED BODY OF WORKS

Prior to the opening Mayeve Zabelin will give a lecture about Kim Noble’s life and art at the amphitheater of Colonia Nova, opposite the Outsider Art Projects gallery. During the opening Naftali Torok (violin) and Boris Audina (accordion) will perform live Balkan and Klezmer music.

Alexicon Kurka will give an introduction to ancient Greek music, illustrated by
music tracks reconstructed in academic environments.

Marae Arizona, an amateur folk singer and songwriter, will perform several of her own songs.

Demonstration of many musical instruments in small groups.
Ancient Greek wind and string instruments, modern guitars.
